#UNLOAD:
Guns in the Hands of Artists

Editor's Note

After a shooting, there is often a “this is the last time” mentality. People are quick to share their opinions and thoughts about the best ways to stop all these mass shootings and say “thoughts and prayers”. However, after a few days, people seem to forget about the issue until the next shooting occurs. It’s a cycle that lacks any sort of action. The artists featured in this issue are not waiting for the next incident to happen. Instead, they are taking action to make a change and spread awareness. If nothing changes, nothing changes, and if no action is taken, more people will die in mass shootings. Some sort of action needs to be taken, and you can be part of the solution.
