Perspectives on Fashion within the LGBTQ+ Community
Perspectives on Fashion within the LGBTQ+ Community

Editor's Note
Growing up, many members of the LGBTQ+ are unable to be their true selves, even around their family. This issue highlights the crucial role of art in the LBGTQ+ community and movement. As the world becomes more accepting, more people come out to embrace their identities as they become independent adults. One of the avenues in which they do this is beauty and fashion, which help people feel more comfortable in their skin after previously needing to blend in. Through these forms of artistic self-expression, they can outwardly celebrate who they are and share it with the world. Additionally, they are incredibly strong, yet silent, forms of protest against societal norms, challenging the world to become more accepting.
